Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar was expected to release the OUAT UG admit card today i.e. September 16, 2021, however it was not out today. The admit card was going to release for the candidates willing to take admission in the different UG courses offered by the university. However, the same appears to be stands delayed as the admit card link is not available on the official website, ouat.nic.in.

The latest message on the website says “Admit card download for OUAT UG Admission – 2021 & OUAT Agro Polytechnic UG Admission-2021 wiill be available from 16-Sep-2021 onwards”.

The computer-based exam is scheduled from September 27 to September 30, 2021, at 24 centres across the state and one centre in New Delhi. Although the OUAT admit card was supposed to be released today, no news regarding it has created a panic in the minds of candidates.

There is no official announcement regarding the reason for the delay in the admit card and it is expected that the OUAT admit card will be released earliest by tomorrow or by this week’s end. The reason for this is, the submission of the application form (B) is going to commence tomorrow i.e. September 17, 2021.

According to the official schedule, the rank list of OUAT 2021 is going to release on October 22, 2021. As of now, the university has provided the official link to the CBT mock test. The candidates can use the mock test to get a complete idea of the exam interface, type of questions asked, level of question etc before the examination.

OUAT is a computer-based test held for a duration of 2 hours. There are a total of 200 questions out of which 66 questions will be asked from physics and chemistry and the remaining 68 questions will be from mathematics or biology section. There is no prescribed negative marking for wrong answers.

The final merit list will be made out of the 100% percentile and in that, 25% of weightage will be given to marks scored in HSC and 10+2 exam while the remaining 50% of the remaining weightage will be given to the marks scored in the entrance test.

The candidates who are successful in the OUAT exam will be called to the counselling session, wherein post verification of the documents, they will be assigned colleges and courses. The basis of allotment will be the candidate’s rank in the exam, seat availability for the course preferred and college availability.
