Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSEO) has released online application form of OTET 2019 today, at bseodisha.nic.in. Teaching aspirants of Odisha must fill and submit it by July 26, 2019. Those who want to become teachers of classes I to V should fill form for paper 1, and those who wish to teach classes VI to VIII should apply for paper 2. Form filling process involves 5 steps. Here are all 5 steps to apply for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2019.
Step 1: Go to bseodisha.nic.in. Here, click on link for OTET 2019. On next page, click on apply online link and then on new registration. Now registration form starts. Type first name, middle name, last name, mobile number, email ID. Confirm all details and submit.
Step 2: Upload photograph and signature in OTET 2019 online application. Photograph should be 20-50 kb in size, and signature should be upto 20 kb in size. Both should be in .jpg format.
Step 3: Enter basic details and educational qualifications. In basis details, you have to fill paper applied for, language preference, select trained if trained, category, disability status, examination city choice, date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format, gender, father’s name, mother’s name, address. In educational qualification, enter educational qualification / eligibility criteria document year of passing and percentage of marks.
Step 4: Preview after filling all details in OTET 2019 apply online form. If all details are correct you can proceed. Else make requisite changes. All data will be verified at some point in recruitment, and any discrepancy then shall lead to disqualification. Hence candidates should submit only correct and verifiable data. After successful registration, print the form.
Step 5: Pay application fee for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2019. Exam fee is Rs 500 plus service charges, and Rs 300 plus service charges for SC and ST candidates. Application fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, netbanking. Print e-receipt and keep it safely after paying fee. Last date to pay fee, if form has been submitted by its deadline, is July 29, 2019.
Two days after paying fee, candidates can login to check payment status. If payment status is not reflected in account by then, then candidates should contact otet1819@gmail.com.
Successful registration leads to generation of registration number and password. These details should be preserved for downloading admit card of OTET 2019 exam or to reprint application form. These details are also sent by email at registered email ID.
BSE Odisha had to cancel the OTET exam 2018, held on January 16, 2019, due to paper leak. The board is ensuring that no such mishap occurs this time round.
