Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan is going to announce the OAVS result 2022 and merit list on the official website, oav.edu.in. The examination was held on March 04, across different centers of the state. As per records, the result shall be released in the form of a PDF file. The board usually releases two lists, i.e. merit list and a waiting list on the official website for the successful candidates for providing admission to classes 6th, 8th, and 9th.
OAVS Result 2022
The OAVS result for the examination shall be available on the official website. The result is released in the form of a PDF file with subject-wise marks scored in the examination. Candidates who successfully obtain scores more than the prescribed cut-off marks are then called for the document verification and admission round. The result is released only in the online mode and candidates can check the same using the registration number assigned on the admit card.
OAVS Admission 2022
Admission to the class 6th, 8th and 9th is based on the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance test. Another factor that contributes during the admission round is the seat matrix and availability. As per the official notification, around 50% of the seats have been reserved for female candidates. The remaining 5% is for those children whose parents are employed in the state or central government services. The seat matrix for each district and the present admission rules are used to provide final admission to the candidates.
OAVS Merit List 2022
Candidates who find a name in the OAVS result are called for the admission round. Herein, their documents are verified and are provided admission on the basis of the vacant seats in the schools situated in a particular district. After all of this is done a merit list is announced by the board comprising the name of the students, along with their classes and schools assigned to them finally on the basis of the seat’s availability. The candidates who do not find a name on the merit list can wait for the waiting list yet to be released by the concerned authorities.
