The National Testing Agency has published the Question Paper and Response sheet for JEE Main 2019 for Paper 1 on January 14, 2019. As per a newspaper reports, the DG NTA Vineet Joshi said that “The answer key for JEE Main 2019 will be released today evening. The candidates can raise objections on answer key till January 18, 2019.”
With the official statement, it is highly expected that the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key shall be out today in the evening. The candidates will be able to download their Question Paper, Response sheet and Answer Key from the website, jeemain.nic.in.
However, if not today, then NTA will publish the official answer key by tomorrow morning. Along with the Answer Key. the window for submitting the objection will also open.
The candidates can download their JEE Main 2019 Answer Key by visiting JEE Main official website. On the homepage of the website, click on the “Answer Key and Objection” button. In the next screen, the candidates will have to log in by entering Application Number and Password or Application Number and Date of Birth. On submitting the login details, in the next screen, click on the link which says “Answer Key”.
The Answer Key for JEE Main 2019 will consist of the Question ID and correct Option ID. The candidates can use their question paper, response sheet and Answer Key to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable score.
As per JEE experts, cut off for JEE Main 2019 is expected to go around 80 to 85. Not much variation is expected from last year, considering that difficulty remained similar to previous exam and overall number of aspirants is similar. The result for JEE Main 2019 is going to be announced on January 31, 2019.
The official who stated that JEE Main 2019 Answer Key will be out today evening, also commented that the objection(s) submitted by the candidates will be reviewed by the respective subject experts. Then if the objection submitted by the candidate is found valid, the exam conducting body will make the necessary changes in the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key and will publish a final answer key.
To submit the objection, the candidates need to choose the Option ID and then proceed to pay the required amount for submitting the objection. The candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- by online mode to submit the objection in NEET 2019 Answer Key. The last date to submit the objection has been decided to be January 18,
NTA conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Main 2019 from January 09 to 12, 2019 for Paper 1 and on January 08, 2019 for Paper 2. The exam was conducted in two shifts – First shift was from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the Second shift was from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM. A total of 9,29,198 number of candidates registered for Paper 1 and 1,80,052 for Paper 2.
