NTA NEET 2021 Application Form

National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to begin the registration process for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 today, July 13, 2021, at 5:00 pm. The application form shall be released on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply for the medical entrance exam only through the online mode on the official website. The education minister has postponed the NEET 2021 examination from August 01 to September 12, 2021, giving ample time to students to complete the registration formalities.

To apply for the NEET 2021 examination, candidates will have to follow 5-step process which is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website NEET 2021 and click on “Fill Application Form”.

Step 2: Fill the online application form with required information and note-down the application number.

Step 3: Upload the necessary documents in the format and dimensions specified by NTA.

Step 4: May the fee payment as per the category through one of the online

Step 5: After successful transaction of application fee, print the confirmation page for future reference.

The information brochure and instructions regarding NEET 2021 are yet to be released by NTA. However, students can refer to last year’s instructions to get a clear idea about three things – 1. Documents to be uploaded, 2. Modes of paying application fee and 3. Application fee for each category.

According to last year’s application process, candidates were required to upload scanned images of their recent, passport size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, Class 10 certificate and post card size photograph of candidate. All these had to be uploaded in the JPG format. However, passport size photograph and signature could be uploaded in the JPEG format as well. The same documents are expected to be uploaded this year.

NTA had previously, provided various online modes to pay the NEET application fee. These modes included Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and Paytm. Moreover, the application fee for each category also varied. General category candidates were expected to pay Rs.1500 whereas General-EWS and OBC (NCL) were required to pay Rs.1400. Similarly, SC, ST, PwD and Transgender category candidates had to pay Rs.800 as application fee. The same fee requirements are expected to follow this year.

After the completion of application process, students must keep their receipt or proof of paid application fee and computer-generated confirmation page of NEET 2021 with them for future use. Candidates belonging to UTs of J&K and Ladakh must keep a copy of their system-generated self-declaration document as well. Previously, NEET 2021 was scheduled to be conducted on August 01, 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, delay in releasing application form and incessant requests of students, NEET 2021 is now scheduled on September 12, 2021.
