National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-issued the exam date for the Odisha candidates. NTA conducted NEET 2019 on May 05, 2019 except for the candidates having Examination Centres in Odisha in the wake of Fani Cyclone. NEET 2019 for such candidates will now be held on May 20, 2019. The exam will start at 10:00 AM and will end at 01:00 PM.
NTA is going to re-issue the NEET 2019 Admit Card to such candidates. The centers of the exam will remain the same. Candidates can download their admit card online at, ntaneet.nic.in. On the homepage of the website, click on the link for downloading the Admit Card. Next, the candidates have to log in by entering their Application number and password/ date of birth. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the details, in the next screen, candidates have to click on the relevant link for downloading the Admit Card. Finally, download and take a print out of the Admit Card.
The issue date for NEET 2019 Admit Card is not yet announced. However, it is expected to be available for download soon.
In another notice for NEET 2019 released by NTA, it has been specified that grievances were received from Karnataka and Siliguri (West Bengal) that some of the Candidates could not take their NEET examination due to circumstances beyond their control. Hence, NTA has proposed to conduct the examination for candidates who were allotted their Examination Centres in Bengaluru and who were traveling by 16591-Hampi Express to Bengaluru on May 05, 2019, and for those candidates scheduled to appear in Centre No. 460906, Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management, Dhukuria, P.O. New Chamta, Siliguri-734009 in Hindi Medium but could not get question papers in that language.
Nearly 365 students from north Karnataka missed appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on May 5, as the train in which they were traveling reached Bengaluru over seven hours late. Many even staged a protest outside the railway station for missing the test for no fault of theirs after which the SWR agreed to write to the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD) for re-conducting the test for them at the earliest.
Candidates as mentioned need to go to the City Coordinators of Bengaluru and Siliguri, and submit their grievances along with documentary proof before 5:00 PM on May 10, 2019. For such candidates as well, NEET 2019 exam is going to be held on May 20, 2019, from 10;00 AM to 01:00 PM. Their Admit Cards will be issued separately at the official website of the exam. No hard copy of it is going to be sent to the candidates individually via post.
NTA may now release the Answer Key once the exam is conducted at all test centers for all candidates. Along with the official answer key, NTA releases the Response sheet as well. However, till the time the official answer key is released, candidates can use the answer keys released by the coaching institutes by Allen Kota, Resonance, Aakash, etc.
