NIOS or the National Institute of Open Schooling has now released intimation / hall ticket for March-April 2018 theory exam. Students enrolled in secondary and senior secondary classes can now download them. The NIOS Hall Ticket 2018 is available for download at nios.ac.in.

There are two separate links for hall ticket download. When one reaches on the hall ticket notifications page of NIOS website, both links can be seen. First one is for NIOS Hall Ticket 2018 for senior secondary classes or class 12 and second one is for secondary classes or class 10.

Students who are registered for senior secondary course in the institute can download NIOS 2018 hall ticket for class 12 here: download for sr secondary here. This leads to hall ticket search portal. Enter correct roll number and hit on submit button.

Likewise, registered students of secondary can download NIOS 2018 hall ticket for class 10 here: download for secondary here. The same process of downloading admit card applies to this also. For both classes, the institute has notified that due to heavy traffic, hall ticket search and download may be a little slow. Heavy traffic on website is causing some delay in its search result display. Candidates are requested to patiently wait. Page may take a minute or two to load.

Other than the hall ticket download links, the institute has also launched two login pages for list of students exam centre wise. However this is only for centre authorities. They can login with six digit ai code to get list of all students who will appear at a centre.

Previously, NIOS had released intimation / hall ticket for practical exams. Practical exams commenced on March 15, 2018. Last date of practical exams will be March 29, 2018. Candidates can view complete date sheet of NIOS 2018 here.

As per date sheet of National Institute of Open Schooling, first exam of senior secondary classes is on April 4, 2018. Whereas for secondary classes, first paper is on April 5, 2018. Last exam date for both classes is April 26, 2018.

NIOS result 2018 for class 10 as well as NIOS result 2018 for class 12 will be announced around forty days after exams. successful students will get mark sheet, provisional certificate, migration-cum-transfer certificate in respective ais or accredited institute. Wherever ais are cancelled, for them, documents are sent by post at residential address available with NIOS at concerned regional centre. If for a candidate any subject is not clear, then that candidate will only get mark sheet.

NIOS is now officially called as the National Institute of Open Schooling. Earlier it was National Open School. This name change happened in the year 2002. Roots of this institute were founded in the year 1989. Basic purpose of NIOS is to ensure that education does not remain bound by brick and mortar class rooms. Here students get education without having to come to school.
