The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the window for receiving online applications for the second phase of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021. The second set of information can be filled by those candidates who have successfully registered and paid the examination fee via neet.nta.nic.in. The last date for filling up the second phase of the application form is October 10, 2021 (up to 11:50 PM).
Please note that for filling the second set of information, candidates are not required to pay an additional fee. But, in case a candidate fails to fill up the information in the second phase registration, then their candidature will stand cancelled. Take note that this facility is only for those candidates who have already registered and paid the examination fees. If a candidate faces difficulty in filling up the second set of information, then they can contact 011-40759000 or send their queries via email at [email protected] As per unofficial sources, here are six essential points that one must keep in mind while registering.
#1. During phase 2 registration, candidates can edit fields such as gender, nationality, email ID, category, sub-category and educational details. For filling up the class 11 details, candidates can contact their respective schools and collect the necessary details.
#2. Phase 2 registration of NEET 2021 does not mean that the UG medical entrance examination will be held once again. It is just the second part of the NEET 2021 application form. In this phase, candidates have to enter additional details that will be essential during the counselling process.
#3. No documents are required to be uploaded during the NEET 2021 phase 2 registration process. However, while entering details, make sure that the same is entered correctly because it is unlikely that a correction window will open later for phase 2 registration.
#4. While signing in, the candidates will be required to enter their registration number in which a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent. It may take at least 15 minutes to receive the OTP. In case one does not receive the OTP on their registered phone number, then they should click the ‘Resend’ button, to receive the same.
#5. Filling up of parents’ qualification, parents’ income is optional. One may either enter the required details or simply skip the blank.
#6. Do not wait for the last date to fill the registration form. Also, instead of a mobile phone, use a laptop or a desktop to do the registration.
