NEET 2021 Correction Window Open; Here’s Link and How To Edit Application Form

The last date to make corrections in the NEET 2021 Application form is August 14, 2021, till 2.00 PM on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET 2021 Correction Window Open

The National Testing Agency has activated the correction window for the NEET 2021 candidates. The candidates can visit the official portal of NTA i.e. neet.nta.nic.in to edit the application forms of NEET-UG. The concerned authorities will accept the correction only till August 14, 2021, until 2.00 PM. The NEET 2021 is scheduled for September 12, 2021, for all the registered applicants. The admit card will be released at least 3 days before the examination i.e. September 9, 2021. The candidates can correct only those details that are allowed by the agency. 

The candidates should keep in mind that the editing facility for the NEET is only for one time. The candidates will not be allowed to edit the application form of NEET multiple times. Hence, it is very crucial that the details they are editing or modifying are correct. Apart from all the other details only three things cannot be edited by the candidates as mentioned below:

  • Candidate’s Email id
  • Password
  • Language of NEET question paper

NEET 2021 Correction Window Link

The candidates who are willing to make necessary corrections in the application form can take the help of the steps mentioned below:

Step 1:  Visit the official website of NTA i.e. neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Therein, on the homepage, the candidates have to move to the bottom of the homepage and click on the Correction Registration Form.

Step 3: On the next page, the candidates have to log in with their application number and password. Post this, the candidates will be redirected to their application form wherein they can click on “Corrections in the NEET Application Form 2021”.

Step 4: Post-clicking it, the candidates will be required to read the instructions and tick on the “I agree” box.

Step 5: Next, the candidates can edit their personal details i.e. name, gender, date of birth, nationality, PWD status, category. Next, the candidates can make changes in the exam question paper medium, state and city preference, etc. Then, comes the academic qualification section wherein they have to enter the details of Class 12th aggregate marks, percentage scored, marks obtained, year of passing, school name, roll number, etc.

Step 6: Then, comes the address section in which candidates can edit their complete present address.

Step 7: In the document section, the candidates can reupload their photograph, left thumb impression, signature, and postcard size photo. The file size of the photograph left thumb impression, and the postcard should be in the range of 10kb to 200kb. While the same for the signature file is 4 kb to 30kb. After entering all the details, the candidates have to enter the security pin and then click on submit button.

Step 8: After clicking the submit button, next comes the review page, here the candidates can cross-check all the edits made. In case of any error, they can make relevant changes by clicking on Edit Application Form Data. Then, the candidates need to tick mark the boxes of the parameters they have edited and verified. In the event of no further changes, the candidates have to agree on the terms and conditions and then click on the “I Agree” button.

Step 9: In the end, the candidates will be required to click on the final submission button. Post clicking the same, the candidates will be redirected to the application homepage. Therein they have to Download the confirmation page and then log out of the dashboard.

We recommend our students take a printout of the correction facility slip for future references. Once the application correction facility is over, NTA will release the NEET admit card for all the candidates who have registered themselves for the examination. The admit card will comprise of the basic details i.e. Candidate’s personal detail, exam centre preference, etc as opted by the candidate.
