NEET 2019 Application Form Correction Started; Edit Forms till 31 Jan

The National Testing Agency has started the facility for editing details in NEET 2019 Application Form. The candidates can edit details at the official website of NEET, ntaneet.nic.in. In order to make changes in the NEET 2019 application form, a candidate is required to log in using their registration number and password. The last date to avail this facility has been scheduled up till January 31, 2019.

For editing details in NEET 2019 Application Form, visit the official website of NEET. Over the main page of the website, click on the link “Candidate Login” on the left side of the page. Then in the next screen, the aspirants will have to log in by entering their Application Number and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the login details, next, the candidates need to click on the link which says “Click Here for Correction in NEET 2019 Application Form”. Over the next page, choose the details you want to rectify. Go through all the changes, that you have made.

A candidate is eligible to make changes if he/she submitted the NEET 2019 online application before the last date, and successfully paid off the specified amount of application fee.

Note that, there are only some details which can be edited. The details which cannot be edited are as follows – Email ID and Mobile Number, Medium of paper and choice of exam centers. Except these, the candidates can edit the rest of the information, including the images.

NTA notifies all those candidates via a text message regarding the discrepancy in the Uploaded photograph and signature if there is any. A candidate will be required to upload both of these documents in jpg/jpeg format. The file size of the photograph should be between 10Kb to 200Kb, whereas the file size of the signature should be between 4Kb to 30Kb.

Initials will not be accepted as a valid signature, neither will black and white photographs are accepted. Blurred images, pictures with a dark background and photographs with caps and goggles will also be rejected by NTA. So, if any candidate has made such blunders while filling the NEET 2019 application form, then make good use of form correction window.

On the basis of the details provided in the NEET 2019 application form, NTA will issue the admit cards for the exam on April 15, 2019. Candidates will be required to carry a copy of the same, along with a photo ID proof to the exam center, on the day of the exam.

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 5th May 2019. This is the first time that National Testing Agency is conducting this national level medical entrance examinations across 154 centers.
