The NDA Answer Key 2018 has been published online by various unofficial sources. The answer key is available for NDA 2 which was conducted on September 09, 2018. The exam conducting body, i.e. UPSC has not yet published the answer key, however, there are various unofficial sources on the social media platform like Facebook and Youtube, where they have uploaded the UPSC NDA 2 Answer Key.
The unofficial answer key is basically the one which is uploaded by various coaching institutes at their website. Along with the answer key, these coaching institutes also publishes the solution for the examination.
The official authorities have not yet declared when they will release the NDA 2 Answer Key. Till then the candidates can download the unofficial key and start cross-checking their answers. The calculation of marks using the answer key is to be done as per the marking scheme given by the UPSC. You need to add and deduct marks as per it only.
The marking scheme for General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics is different because the distribution of question is different in both. In GAT, there is 150 number of questions of total 600 marks, and in the Mathematics section, there is 120 number of the question of total 300 marks.
At the time of calculating the marks, the candidates should note that there is a negative marking for an incorrect answer, which means that One third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
The candidates will be able to download the official answer key from the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. It will be available in pdf format. Along with the answer key, the exam conducting body will also upload NDA 2 Question Paper. The candidates can use both to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable score.
In the official answer key, the candidates shall also submit the objection(s) if there is any. On the basis of the objection submitted by the candidate, the UPSC shall then publish a final answer key.
