National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 162 vacancies in Grade A and Grade B. For the recruitment drive, online applications are invited from July 17, 2021, onward. Indian citizens having the necessary qualifications for the appointment can apply for said posts.
A total of 148 vacancies of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ in Rural Development Banking Service, 05 vacancies of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ in Rajbhasha Service, 02 vacancies of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ in Protocol and Security Service to be filled. Whereas, a total of 07 posts are vacant for Manager in Grade ‘B’ in Rural Development and Banking Service.
While the detailed notification is awaited, it is anticipated, as per previous notifications, that to be eligible for Grade ‘A’ Assistant Manager, the candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories, the required aggregate marks are 45%.
Likewise it is expected for the Grade ‘B’ Manager post, the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or a Post Graduate degree with 60% or 55% aggregate marks respectively. For detailed qualification, age limit, etc. aspirants are suggested to take reference from the detailed notification, to be available at nabard.org on July 17.
Once the applications start, candidates can apply online through the Bank’s official website http://www.nabard.org. No other mode of submission of application will be accepted. Before applying to the Grade A/B posts, candidates should read all the instructions carefully.

The last date for submission of the online application is August 07, 2021. The date of the preliminary online examination and issue of call letter will be intimated through separate intimations via the official website of Bank – nabard.org.
Selection of the candidates shall be based on three stages i.e Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Both Preliminary and Main examinations will be conducted online in computer-based mode carrying multiple choice type questions. Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing a sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for an interview.
Aspirants are seeking out the salary slip and salary details for the advertised posts. These details will be available in the detailed notification. As per past notifications, the the finally selected candidates as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ are expected to be given to draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 28150/- p.m. in the scale of 28150-1550(4) -34350-1750(7) – 46600 –EB – 1750(4)- 53600-2000 (1)- 55600 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’ and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 55587, says a previous notification.
