Mumbai University UG First Merit List 2021 Released – These are cut offs of top 10 colleges

Due to the overwhelming result of the 12th class, the cut-offs of the top colleges that are affiliated with Mumbai University is high for undergraduate courses admission.

Mumbai University has released the 1st merit list for the admission of different undergraduate courses. Candidates who have registered for the undergraduate courses admission 2021 can check the merit list by visiting the official website of the colleges to which they have applied. After checking the merit list, applicants can verify their documents online and can pay the seat acceptance fee from August 18, 2021, to August 25, 2021, till 3 pm.

The 1st merit list for UG courses admission 2021 of Mumbai University is released separately for open category, reserved category, and minorities. To check the cut off of the 1st merit list of undergraduate courses admission, candidates can visit the official website of respective colleges. This year the cut-offs for UG admission 2021 is very high due to the overwhelming results of the 12th class.

Following are the 1st merit list cut-offs of the top colleges of Mumbai University:

  1. The highest cut off for the B.Sc. course at Mithibai College is 98.83%.
  2. At Khalsa College the highest cut off is 99% for BA course.
  3. For B.Sc. Computer Science course at Patkar College the highest cut off is 96.50%.
  4. The highest cut off is 93.60% for the B.Com course at Pillai College.
  5. For the B.Com course at Nagindas Khandwala College the cut off has gone to 87.5%.
  6. As per the 1st merit list of Wilson College, the cut off for the BA course is 94%.
  7. M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce has released the cut off based on total marks secured by candidates out of 600 in the 12th class. For the B.Com course, the cut off is 521 marks.
  8. For admission to the 1st year B.Sc. courses at the Institute of Forensic Science, the overall cut off is 85%.
  9. For B.K. Birla College, the highest cut off is 86% for the B.Sc. course.
  10. The highest cut off is 100% for the BA course at Jai Hind College.

In the year 2019, the cut off for the BA course at Mithibai College was 95.24%. For the B.Com course, 2019 cut off at Poddar College was 94% whereas for arts and science courses cut-offs were 86.31% and 89.80% respectively. So comparing the previous year and this year’s cut off, the cut off of this year is very much higher than the previous years.

As per the schedule, Mumbai University will release the 2nd merit list for the UG admission 2021 on August 25, 2021, and the 3rd merit list will be released on August 30, 2021.
