Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) published list of candidates who have been shortlisted for certificate verification, along with cut off and certificate verification schedule today, at mrb.tn.gov.in against Advt 02/2019 for 2,345 Nurses vacancies. As per the schedule, certificate verification will take place from September 12 to October 04.
A single PDF file has been uploaded at mrb.tn.gov.in. It first of all shows the certificate verification dates. Then it gives the format of a few documents which are a part of the documents that are needed on day of verification. After that it contains the complete list of candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of their marks for CV. Then, cut off is displayed.
Marks of last candidate called for certificate verification out of 100, and respective DOB are as follows: GT – 64.5, 06-05-1992; BC – 64.50, 01-06-1997; MBC & DNC – 64.50, 06-06-1996; BCM – 59.00, 22-07-1996; SC – 64.00, 30-12-1993; SCA – 60.50, 23-04-1995; ST – 54.00, 15-01-1994.
To check the result, candidates need to go to mrb.tn.gov.in, notifications section, and click on schedule for certificate verification of nurses. A total of 2,580 candidates have been called for the certificate verification. Venue for the same is Medical Services Recruitment Board, 7th Floor, DMS Building, 359, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai-6.

Candidates need to bring the following fourteen documents, in this order only for the process. Original as well as self-attested copies are required. DOB proof, educational qualification proof, tamil qualification proof, community certificate, Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council Permanent Registration Certificate, character certificate by officer, character certificate by head of institution, DA certificate if applicable, NOC from appointing authority if applicable, undertaking and declaration, 2 passport size colour photographs, any one photo ID card issued by govt with address, ex-service women related certificates and numbers, printout of online application form.
In the schedule, a specimen copy of conduct and character certificate (to be issued by a Group A or Group B Officer) is attached. List of candidates called for verification indicates MRB number, exam number, application number, name, date of birth.
TN MRB had published advt 02/2019 in February of this year. The nurses examination was held on June 23. It was a diploma level exam with 200 multiple choice questions of 100 marks. After the exam, marks of written examination was announced. Now, the selection list is finally out.
Through this recruitment, the number of vacancies being filled include 1,431 general, 615 women, 60 PWBD general, 26 PWBD women, 58 PWBD general, and 155 PWBD women.
