Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) is inviting applications on the prescribed proforma to fill up 09 vacancies for various contractual posts. The vacancies are to be filled up on a temporary contract basis. Eligible and interested candidates can forward application by post, in person or by email. The last date of receipt of the applications is 15 days from the publication of the recruitment advertisement. The advertisement dated August 11, 2020, can be downloaded from the website i.e. yogamdniy.nic.in. Interested candidates are advised to go through the notification and ensure eligibility before forwarding their applications to the Institute.
As per the official notification, 09 vacancies are available in total in a research project for a period of one year. The project is being conducted in collaboration with the Dept of Laboratory Medicine AIIMS, New Delhi. One vacancy each is available for the posts of Junior Research Fellow, Research Assistant, Data Entry Operator and Medical Lab Technician. On the other hand, five vacancies are available for the post of Yoga Therapist (Part-Time). JRFs are entitled to maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 38400. Research Assistants are entitled to maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 31,000. Yoga Therapists are entitled to maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 24000 per month. Data Entry Operators are entitled to maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 20000. Medical Lab Technicians are entitled to maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 18000.
Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. For the post of JRF, applicants must have a Master’s degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology and 03 or more years of experience in research. For the post of Research Assistant, applicants must have a Graduate degree in Science or any other discipline along with 03 or more years of experience in research. Those having a Masters degree in a relevant subject are also eligible to apply for this post. Candidates having a degree in Yoga or Yoga & Naturopathy with 55% or more marks along 02 years of experience are eligible to apply for the post of Yoga Therapist. Candidates applying for the post of Data Entry Operator must have a Graduate degree in any discipline and good communication skills, writing ability and interpersonal skills. Candidates intending to apply for the post of Medical Lab Technician must have a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology along with 55% marks. The maximum age of the applicants cannot be more than 64 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement. Selected candidates are required to join in their job role immediately after confirmation of the selection. Selected candidates will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure undertaking at the time of joining.
