Mudra Institute of Management (MICA) will release the MICAT 2019 Admit Card on November 26, 2018. The hall ticket is releasing for window 1 which will be held on December 01, 2018. MICA conducts MICAT for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communication (PGDM-C) twice a year. The registration for MICAT-II will start from December 20, 2018. Candidates can appear for either of sessions or both to take admission in the academic year 2019-21.
Candidates who have registered for the first session can download the MICAT admit card from the official website at mica.ac.in. Once the admit card is available, the download link will be updated on the home page of the website. Students will need the user id and password as received during the registration process. It is estimated that around 3000 candidates have applied for MICAT-1. Last year, 2854 candidates applied for the exam and 748 students were selected for the GE-PI round from both the sessions.
On the exam day, it is important to carry MICAT 2019 Call Letter in order to take the test. Carrying a photo identity proof is also required. Since this is a computer-based test, aspirants need not carry any stationery items with them. The exam pattern for MICAT is similar to other national level management test except for the Psychometric and Descriptive Test.
For the writing part, being updated with current affairs is really helpful especially with political and social issues. Also, writing an essay daily helps to improve one’s writing skill. For general knowledge, apart from current affairs also read static gk from a good book. In logical reasoning, candidates must focus on topics like Critical Reasoning, Visual Reasoning, analytical reasoning, and Data Sufficiency. Importantly, candidates who are appearing for MICA must also have applied for CAT/ XAT/ GMAT. After the combination of these exams scores, MICAT score, group exercise, and personal interview, the list of shortlisted candidates for final admission will release. Aspirants clearing all the rounds will be the part of a batch of 180 students who will pursue the prestigious course in communication by MICA. It is a great institute for students who aspire their career in advertisement industry, PR agencies, brand management, media, Journalism etc.
Apart from PGDM-C, MICA also offers admission for (CCC) – Crafting Creative Communication as well as Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM)– Communication. Admission for both the programmes is open and does not require MICAT exam. Though the different admission process follows for these programmes.
