State Common Entrance Test Cell is going to release the MHT CET result 2021 tomorrow dated October 27, 2021. The candidates have to log in to the official website, statecell.org to check their results for the MHT CET 2021 exam.
Several media reports are speculating that the result for the MHT CET is going to be released tomorrow. Earlier, the conducting body of CET, DTE has stated that it will release the result for all the CETs by October 28, 2021.
MHT CET exam 2021 was held from September 20 to October 01, 2021, across different test centres in Maharashtra. However, those who cannot attend the exams between these dates were asked to appear in the exam on October 09 and 10, 2021. After the exam was over, the conducting body released the answer key for the candidates. The council received 111 unique objections out of which only 23 objections have been accepted by the concerned authorities.
Candidates who clear the exam with marks more than the minimum qualifying marks shall be eligible to get admission to Engineering and Pharma colleges. The counselling schedule is expected to be released soon after the result is released.
The result for the candidates who appear in the MHT CET exam is released as percentile scores. the authority also considers the normalisation process to ensure fairness in the total marks. The exam is being held in multiple shifts and the difficulty level of the questions in each shift is different. Hence, a normalisation formula is been conceptualised by the conducting body.
The conducting body releases the MHT CET cut off marks for appearing in the counselling round. Along with the result, the authorities also releases the rank list and assigns ranks to candidates based on the marks scored by them in the exam. After the result is released, the candidates have to register for the counselling round.
Around 360 colleges, offering 138226 seats in different streams offer admission in B.Tech, B.Pharma courses. For MHT CET 2021, 542431 candidates registered for the exam out of which 386604 successfully appeared for the examination this year.
The exam was conducted in around 226 exam centres across Maharashtra. Candidates who will be successful in the examination shall be eligible to take up admission in different UG level engineering, agriculture and pharmacy courses.
