MHA IB Security Assistant Admit Card

Candidates who had appeared in MHA IB Security Assistant 2019 tier 2 exam have reported that they have received sms and email with interview date and admit card. Interviews are scheduled from December 10, 2019 onwards. All candidates who have appeared in tier 2 can now download their admit cards, fill AF and SSQ forms, and attend the interview on their scheduled dates. Link to upload AF and SSQ forms are available at recruitmentonline.in/mha13.

It may be noted that for IB Security Assistant recruitment 2019, candidates equal to 10 times the number of vacancies were shortlisted for tier 2 as well as tier 3 on the basis of tier 1 exams. That is, the result of tier 2 has no bearing upon tier 3 interview. Also, as per reports, the tier 2 exam that was postponed for Srinagar, Jammu, and Leh was scheduled for today, November 29, 2019.

The official website of Ministry of Home Affairs is mha.gov.in. However for all official updates of Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant / Executive recruitment 2019 for 1,054 vacancies, the official website is recruitmentonline.in/mha13. On this website, there are two new updates. First, there is a new link for uploading of AF and SSQ documents. Second, date of interviews has been updated on the website to be “wef 10-12-2019”.

On clicking the link for AF SSQ documents upload, a login page opens. Here, candidates need to login with their registration number and password to upload Attestation Form (AF) and Special Security Questionnaire (SSQ).

When the result of tier 1 was announced, MHA had informed that candidates will get intimation for tier 2 and tier 3 dates as well as admit cards via sms and email only. The said procedure has been followed.

The IB security assistant tier 2 exam is qualifying in nature, in which, candidates are required to score 20 out of 50. Tier 3 that is interview cum personality test on the other hand would be scored out of 50 and will be considered for merit.

Final merit list of candidates for selection to the post will be on the basis of tier 1 and tier 3 scores. Resolution of ties will be first on the basis of tier 1 marks, then tier 3, then date of birth, and then alphabetical order of names will be considered.

Ministry of Home Affairs had published the Security Assistant / Executive exam notification on October 20 last year, and accepted applications until November 10. The tier 1 exam was held on February 17, 2019, and it was held in Srinagar and Jammu centres on March 31, 2019. Result of tier 1 was announced on August 28, 2019. After which, the tier 2 exam was held on September 29, 2019.

The position is classified as general central service group C non gazetted, non ministerial post, in pay scale Rs 5200 – 20200. Class 10 pass candidates with knowledge of local language, and not older than 27 years (age limit relaxed for reserved category) are competing for this post.
