Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 203 vacancies in Covid Treatment Centres. The vacancies are for various paramedical posts which are to be filled up on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months. A detailed recruitment notification in this regard is published by the Corporation on the official website i.e. portal.mcgm.gov.in. Eligible candidates who aspire to apply for the recruitment must note that the online application forwarding process has commenced on July 13, 2020. The last date of receipt of applications by email is July 24, 2020.
The 203 vacancies are advertised for four different types of paramedical staff posts. Among these, there are 51 vacancies for the post of Laboratory Technician, 52 vacancies for the post of X-Ray Technician, 39 vacancies for the post of ECG Technician, and 61 vacancies for the post of Pharmacist. Candidates need to have the relevant educational qualification to apply for the aforementioned posts. Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree and DMLT course are eligible to apply for the post of Laboratory Technician. Those who have completed their Class 12th and thereafter obtained a BPMT degree are eligible to apply for the post of X-Ray Technician. 12th pass candidates with BPMT (Cardiology Technology) degree are eligible to apply for the post of ECG Technician. Candidates having D.Pharma or B.Pharma qualification are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. In addition, all candidates must be within the age limit of 18 to 50 years.
The merit list of selected candidates is prepared on the basis of marks awarded for different parameters. Eligible candidates are awarded marks based on educational qualification, percentage of marks obtained in the final year of the qualification, number of attempts taken to pass diploma, etc. Upon final selection, candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of 3 months only. During such a period, appointed candidates are eligible to withdraw consolidated monthly payment of Rs 30,000 for all posts.

Applications must be completely filled up in the provided format and signed by the applicant. A recent passport-sized photograph must be affixed and candidates are required to forward copies of educational qualifications, age proof, and either supporting documents/testimonials along with their applications.
