After the announcement of the NEET SS 2021-22 result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has today, March 23, 2022, released the official counselling schedule. The schedule has been uploaded on the commission’s official website – mcc.nic.in. Round 1 counselling for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) SS 2021-22 shall commence from April 01, 2022. Two rounds of counselling shall be organised for candidates who successfully qualified the super specialty entrance test.
Earlier, the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had successfully conducted the NEET SS 2021-22 examination on January 10, 2022. Subsequently, results were announced on January 31, 2022. After almost two months of wait, MCC has finally announced the official counselling schedule.
Steps of NEET SS 2021-22 Counselling
As per official information, NEET SS 2021-22 counselling shall comprise 5 distinct steps which are as follows –
Step 1: Registration and fee payment.
Step 2: Choice-filling or locking of the seat.
Step 3: Processing of the seat allotment.
Step 4: Announcement of the result.
Step 5: Reporting to the allotted institute.
NEET SS 2021-22 Round 1 Dates
According to the NEET SS 2021-22 counselling schedule, the round 1 registration shall commence on April 01 along with the payment of the counselling fee. Candidates shall get time up to April 05, 2022, 12:00 pm, to register for the facility. Registered aspirants will thereafter, fill their choices and lock their seats from April 02 to 05, 2022, up to 11:55 pm.
MCC will be evaluating and processing the choice-filling of each candidate on April 06 and 07, 2022. Subsequently, seat allotment results shall be announced on April 08, 2022. All those who are satisfied with their allotment must report to the respective institution between April 09 and 14, 2022.
NEET SS 2021-22 Round 2 Dates
Candidates who are unhappy with their NEET SS 2021-22 round 1 seat allotment can apply for round 2. As per the counselling schedule, round 2 registration shall begin on April 19, 2022, along with the payment of the counselling fee. Candidates shall get time up to April 21, 2022, 12:00 pm, to register for the facility. Registered aspirants will thereafter, fill their choices and lock their seats from April 19 to 21, 2022, up to 11:55 pm.
MCC will be evaluating and processing the choice-filling of each candidate on April 22 and 23, 2022. Subsequently, seat allotment results shall be declared on April 24, 2022. All those who are satisfied with their allotment must report to the respective institution between April 25 and 30, 2022.
