Two days after an unofficial website was widely circulated on social media platforms claiming to host the MAHA MBA CET 2021 results, the state entrance test cell has finally responded, invalidating this link. Authorities have sent an email to all those candidates who registered for the entrance exam. This email stated that scorecards downloaded on October 05, 2021, using this unauthorized link are neither valid nor verified. Actual results will be issued only on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. Therefore, candidates are advised to only follow this link and not believe any unofficial portals.
On October 05, 2021, a unverified website by the name “Admit Card Builder 2” was being widely shared and re-shared on social media portals. Many candidates believed this website, entered the login credentials and accessed their scorecards. According to a YouTuber named Ck Cetking, 70% of students were unhappy with their results. The marks received were not in accordance with their attempts in the exam. Hence, this unofficial website started appearing more fishy with every passing moment.
Adding to the students turmoil, on October 06, 2021, the website showed that results would come out soon rather than the usual login page. So, candidates began questioning whether the scores they received before were credible or not? Freeing students of this confusion, the entrance test cell sent a mail to each and every registered candidate. This mail acknowledged that an unauthorised portal was being widely circulated on the internet. Even WhatsApp groups fell prey to this invalid website as they it was being circulated by non-credible sources incessantly.
Lastly, the email clarified that the MAHA MBA CET 2021 results will only be published on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.While this was clearly implied, candidates are still not sure when the results will come out. According to some news portals, results are expected to come out latest by October 20, 2021. However, according to a news portal called LawBeat, the Bombay High Court has imposed a stay order on the entrance exam results. Hence, the possibility of results coming out by the expected time is unlikely.
Recently, some students filed a petition against the MAHA MBA CET 2021 entrance exam, stating that it was not conducted in accordance to the rules mentioned in the information brochure. The expected subject-wise marking scheme has not been followed across each exam session. Hence, students are requesting the authorities to conduct the exam again so that its sanctity and credibility remains intact. As per reports, the next hearing is scheduled for October 11, 2021, after which, candidates can get some clarity about the result date.
