The online registrations for MBA Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021 has started. State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET) has activated MBA CET 2021 registration link online at cetcell.mahacet.org. MBA aspirants with a graduation degree can now submit their application form for MAH CET 2021 before July 17, 2021.
The MBA CET exam is held to enrol eligible students for the first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) at government, university managed institutes, government aided, university managed departments and unaided private professional educational institutes.
A candidate must have passed a three year graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institute by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for backward class categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra state).
Aspirants can register themselves for MBA CET 2021 via official website – mba2021.mahacet.org or cetcell.mahacet.org. At first, they have to click on the ‘new registration’ button and read all the important instructions before applying. On successful registration, a registration number and password is generated.
Next, candidates have to log in using the MBA CET registration number and password. Thereafter, upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in a proper format. The MBA CET application for 2021 will then appear on the screen. Here, aspirants have to provide some basic information including the education qualifications, address, personal information, etc. The next step is to pay the requisite application fee and submit the form. Also, take a printout of the confirmation page that is generated at the end of the procedure.
Moreover, it is mandatory to pay the application fee that is pre-defined by the State CET. For the general category of Maharashtra state Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1000/-. Backward class categories [ST/SC/OBC/VJ/DT- NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/PWD/SBC/EWS Candidates from Maharashtra state have to pay Rs. 800/- as application fee.
Further, MBA CET is a computer-based test that is organized by the State CET Cell of Maharashtra. The test is organized for 150 minutes. Candidates have to answer 200 multiple-choice questions. The questions in the entrance test are asked from 04 topics namely Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability / Reasoning Comprehension. Each question will carry 01 marks for the correct answer. Also, there is no negative marking in the entrance exam. However, State CET has not announced the MAH MBA CET 2021 Exam Date yet.
