State CET Cell of Maharashtra has released the MBA CET 2019 Result on 30 March at 11:30 PM. Candidates can check their performance on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The result has been declared in the PDF format mentioning the rank, CET score, percentile of all the students who have taken the test on 09 and 10 March.
Candidates can access the MBA CET 2019 Result from the website using the link “Click Here for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 Result”. This year 15 students have scored 99.99 Percentile. Following the trend of the last 4 years, there is no 100 percentiler this year also. The students who have scored 99.99 percentile have the marks in the range of 153 and 164.
The highest score in MBA CET 2019 is 164/200. This year, the toppers are Patrick Dsouza & Prapti Sanjay, Jose Augusto De Abreau, Aakash Nilesh Shah & Sandeep Kumar with 164, 163, and 160 scores respectively. Last year, there were 5241 candidates scores marks 100 and above. In this exam, the number has been increased to 6058.
The percentile shows the percentage of test takers who have scored the marks equal to or less than a particular candidate. Until now, CET Cell has not issued the MBA CET 2019 Result summary. It is expected to be available soon. This year, 102851 students appeared for the examination. In the previous year, 92.63% of candidates took the exam out of the total registered candidates.
After the announcement of the result, candidates can use the MBA CET rank to take admission to the colleges of Maharashtra. There are over 34000 seats for MBA / MMS/ PGDM admission to the colleges of Maharashtra. As per the previous year brochure, the admission to 85% seats of government aided institutes is via MBA CET only. Only 15% of seats are allocated to All India Quota or for admission via CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, etc.
As the result has been declared, the MBA CET 2019 Counselling shall start soon in the month of May /June 2019. It is popularly known as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). It consists of an allotment of seat to candidates on the basis of the rank and cut-off of the individual institute. Students who want to participate in CAP via other national level exams must register for it and pay the applicable fee.
About MBA CET: It is a state level examination conducts every year in two days slot. The registration for the exam opens in the month of January for approximately 30-40 days. It is a computer-based exam of 150 minutes. There are four sections in the exam and a total of 200 questions. Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
