All India Management Association has announced the MAT result 2021 a few minutes ago today, on April 2, 2021. Candidates can check their result of MAT 2021 February exam from mat.aima.in.

In order to check result, one has to go to mat.aima.in. Then click the results link under download tab in menu. Then login with registration number and roll number.

The MAT Feb 2021 exams were held on February 20, and March 24, 2021 as CBT. Whereas it was held on March 6, 2021 as PBT, and on March 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 18, and 20, 2021 as IBT. The internet based test mode was where candidates could take the test from home.

What is Percentile Below in MAT 2021 result?

The score card of MAT exam contains score, and a percentile below section. Candidates are enquiring about the same upon checking their results. To answer this, here is an excerpt from the MAT Feb 2021 prospectus, which beautifully explains the percentile below detail.

For each of the six scores mentioned, a percentile below figure is also given. Each of these indicates the percentage of examinees who scored below the candidate based on the entire MAT testing population for the test. The percentile below figure may change marginally with each administration for the same scores.

In essence, the percentile below means the percentage of candidates, who score less than the candidate (who has checked the result, you), in that section. For example, a “99.5” in percentile below section in language comprehension means that 99.5% of the candidates scored less than you in the language comprehension.

While many MBA entrance exams provide percentiles, a few give percentile representation for each section. Nevertheless, MAT score card displaying this also enables the candidate to understand their own areas of expertise.

MAT result 2021 indicates scores in each of the sections, namely language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, composite score, indian and global environment.

With MAT Feb 2021 result announce, candidates may now choose to appear in the MAT May 2021 exam. For the same, registrations are now open. The next edition of the exam is scheduled to be held on separate dates in May and June months, again in PBT, CBT, IBT modes.

The MAT exam is held around 4 times in a year.
