The registration for the MAT December 2018 Examination has now begun. Those candidates who want to appear for the MAT test can now apply from the official website that is http://www.mat.aima.in. The registration for Paper-Based (PBT) and Computer-Based (CBT) has been started. The registration will end on November 30 and December 07, 2018 respectively. As per the official website, the registration was expected to commence from 2nd week of October, but it has been started early on October 06, 2018.
In the latest announcement, AIMA has also revised the exam schedule for the December session. In which last date, the release of admit card and date of the exam has been changed. The new schedule is available on the official website. The updated date of exam of the MAT December 2018 exam for PBT and CBT is December 09 and 15, 2018 respectively.
The registration for the MAT December 2018 can be done online from the official website of MAT. The candidates can click on the registration link and enter their email address, date of birth, set a password, and submit. Then using the same credentials, log in to the account. The candidates can then fill in the application form, upload the required documents. The procedure of registration for PBT and CBT is the same.
At the time of the registration, the students will also have to pay the application fees. For the CBT and PBT, the amount of fee is same, i.e, Rs. 1550. The candidates who are opting for both CBT and PBT have to pay Rs. 2650. The payment can be done by net banking, debit card or credit card.
The MAT test will have five sections which are language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis, intelligence & critical reasoning and Indian & global environment. Students can practice the sample questions that are available on the MAT’s official website.
The students who feel that they did not score well in the last MAT exam can apply for the exam to be held in the month of December. They will have to do the registration again by following the same process. They also have to make a new payment for the registration fees.
The MAT exam which is organised by AIMA is conducted 4 times a year, so the students get an advantage of appearing again to improve their scores. It must be noted that the MAT scores are valid for only one year. The MAT exam scores are accepted by more than 600 B-Schools in India. The MAT test was approved as a national level test by the Ministry of HRD in the year 2003. The students get to choose their test centre out of 50 options.
