Mangalore University (MU), Karnataka, has today, November 23, 2021, announced the results for degree program, for the odd-semester exams. Results have been announced on the official website managloreuniversity.ac.in for three semesters – 1st, 3rd and 5th. The undergraduate university exams were going to be conducted in April 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were postponed and finally held in September 2021.
Students were ardently waiting for the results to come out. This is especially after MU reassured students that results would be announced by the end of October 2021. Going by this, results have been delayed by more than three weeks. However, students can take a breath of fresh air as results for all three courses have been announced i.e., BA, B.Com and BBA.
Last week, MU had also informed students that results will be announced on Saturday morning. However, due to technical glitches, they were again delayed. To check the odd-semester results, students can use the steps given below –

This year, a total of 204 colleges are affiliated with the Mangalore University. All these colleges collectively offer a variety of UG courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Ed, BHM and many more. Additionally, these colleges also offer postgraduate courses such as MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Com. and MCA.
Although online marksheets for UG courses have been published on the official website, candidates must collect the physical copies from their respective colleges. This clearly implies that the online mark sheets are provisional, released only to inform candidates about their performances. But offline draft is the original document which can be used for official purposes.
Speaking about the MU 6th semester results, P L Dharma, the registrar (evaluation), clarified that they shall be released next week. Authorities are currently preoccupied in uploading the marks of internal assessments. Only after completing this formality will authorities announce the results. Similarly, results for other streams and courses will be announced subsequently. In the meantime, candidates are advised to visit the official portal frequently for important updates about the exam.
