Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced admission calendar 2020 for all offered programmes. MAHE, formerly known as Manipal University on its official website, manipal.edu, has declared the last date of application, last date of admission and date of commencement of class for respective programmes on offer across its institutions. However, candidates may note that application process is yet to begin even as no information has been provided by the institution.
While application deadline for most of the programmes end in the month of May, the admission process gets over by July 2020. As many as 79 programmes are on offer across 29 institutes of MAHE.
Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) offers the popular B.Tech program, for which, last date to apply has been announced as March 15. Whereas Kasturba Medical College (KMC) offers MBBS, for which, the institute has not announced any dates of its own but asked to refer NEET 2020 guidelines.
BBA, B.Com are offered by the Department of Commerce, for which, candidates can apply until March 15. This is also the last date to apply for BA Media & Communication, BSc Animation offered by Manipal Institute of Communication. However last date to apply for BA Humanities under Manipal Centre for Humanities is April 30. All dates are of the year 2020.
Coming to the post graduate programs, the last date to apply for all MBA programs is May 30. M.Com and M.Sc applications can be submitted until April 30. This is also the deadline for all MA programs in Manipal Centre for Humanities.
March 15, 2020, is the deadline for several popular programs such as B.Tech, B.Tech lateral entry, BDes, BBA, BCom, BHM, BA Culinary Arts. April 30, 2020, is common deadline for M.Com, M.Sc. Then May 15, 2020, is the last date to apply for BSc Biotechnology, M.Tech, MCA, ME, MSc Inf Sc, BArch, MArch, MA. And May 30, 2020 is the last date for BPharm lateral entry, MSW, MSc, MBA, Integrated PhD.
Last year Manipal released application forms for admissions and entrance exam on October 10. It is expected that the forms for admission 2020 will be released at around the same time this year.
The only programs for which forms will close in December 2019 are Certificate Course in Panchakarma Technician & Massage Therapist, PG Certificate Course in Laser Dentistry, Certificate course in Library & Information Science. The next early deadline is PG Certificate Course in Panchakarma batch 1.
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education offers admissions to its programmes through four different tests – Manipal Entrance Test (MET), Department Test (DT), MET-DT and National Entrance Tests. While admissions to B.Tech, BE, BA Media Communication, B.Pharm, BBA, MTech and ME programmes are offered through MET, that to BHM, BCom, M.Sc Forensic Sciences are offered through DT, and admissions to specific programmes including MSc Clinical Embryology, MSc Clinical Psychology, BDes and BSc Animation are offered through MET followed by DT.
