The wait is about to end as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to begin the CUET 2022 registration process today, April 02, 2022. The application form will be live on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. This implies that in order to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022, candidates need to fill out and submit the online form. No forms will be accepted through any other website or offline source. Although registration is set to commence today, NTA has not specified any definite timing. As of now, the official website shows “Application will be live soon”.
While waiting for the CUET 2022 application form, candidates are advised to make a note of all the tentative documents required to register. As of now, NTA has not released the information brochure. Till that time, candidates can rely on the tentative list to avoid last-minute chaos.
CUET 2022 – Tentative Documents To Apply
As per reports published by several media outlets, following are the documents needed for CUET 2022 registration –

# Class 12 marksheet
# Scanned copy of passport-size recently-clicked photograph
# Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
# Valid, government-issued photo-ID proof (E.g., Aadhar Card)
# Category certificate (if applicable)
It is important to note that the CUET 2022 application process may require a candidate to upload scanned images of the document or just provide the details like exam roll number, percentage scored, marks obtained, etc. Either way, it is important to keep those documents handy.
Additionally, it is recommended for candidates to use a recently-issued photo ID. So that it becomes simpler for authorities to match the candidate’s appearance. With respect to photograph, candidates can upload the one they used for Class 12 board exam registration. This will also contribute to a seamless CUET 2022 registration process. A candidate’s signature must be done on a white paper with a blue or black pen.
CUET 2022 – Application Process Begins Today
As per the official CUET 2022 notification published by NTA, online registration is all set to begin from today. Candidates will have time up to April 30, 2022, to fill and submit the online form. Interestingly, the agency has not specified any other date in exam schedule.
In fact, it is likely to wait until the registration process ends to know the number of successful applicants. Thereafter, on determining the total candidates and languages opted by them, exam dates shall be announced.
