The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has announced the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2021. The online registrations for KVPY 2021 shall start today on July 12, 2021, at 05:00 PM. The candidates who are interested in the KVPY 2021 Fellowship can visit the official website, kvpy.iisc.ac.in. They can submit KVPY 2021 application form on or before the last date August 25, 2021.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a national program of fellowship in Basic sciences. The programme is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to motivate exceptionally talented students to pursue science courses and research careers in Science. The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude and help them to use their potential and ensure the growth of the scientific minds for the development and research of the country.
The advertisement for the KVPY 2021 Fellowship has been released on the national dailies. As per the notice, the online registrations for KVPY Fellowship 2021 shall start today sharp at 05:00 PM. Candidates can apply for the fellowship as per the required eligibility. The KVPY 2021 Aptitude Test will be held on November 07, 2021.
Aspirants can apply for Fellowship in three Streams – Stream SA, Stream SX and Stream SB. Students who have enrolled in or are planning to attend class 11th (Science subjects) for the academic year 2021-2022 and aspiring to join UG in basic Sciences can apply for Stream SA. Those who have joined/ planning to join class 12 (Science) for the year 2021-2022 and aspiring to join UG Basic Sciences for 2022-23 can register for Stream SX. To apply for Stream SB, students must have enrolled/planning to join First Year B.Sc/ B.S/ B.Stat/ B. Math/ Int. M.Sc/ Int. M.S. in Basic Sciences for the year 2021-22.
Eligible and interested candidates can register for KVPY Fellowship 2021 in three simple steps. These comprise registration, filling in Personal details and payment of the application fee. First, candidates need to visit the official website, kvpy.iisc.ac.in and click on the ‘applications’ button. Thereafter, the basic instructions shall display along with the KVPY 2021 registration link. Click on it to start the registration, proceed to fill the application form and upload all the necessary documents. Lastly, pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 1250/- (Rs. 625 for SC/ ST PWD).
