Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala has released the KMAT Kerala 2019 Answer Key on February 18, 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the exam on February 17, 2019, can download the KMAT Answer Key at kmatkerala.in. The university has released the answer key in the PDF format having the correct responses of all the 180 questions. Candidates can cross-verify it with the answers marked on the OMR Sheet.
As per the marking scheme by the university, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answers. For each correct responses, there is an addition of 4 marks. Hence, subtract 1 mark for each wrong answer and add 4 for right answers to get the actual score. Using the marking scheme and official answer key, candidates can calculate their raw scores in advance.
Until last year, the university used to give small limited time window to raise challenges in the answer key. However, this year, no such notification has been released. Also, the university used to publish the final answer key after considering all the objections. Last year, the final answer key was released exactly two days after the publishing of KMAT Kerala preliminary answer key. For the session 2019-21, the university may issue the notification on the official website.
As the KMAT Kerala 2019 Answer Key has been available, the result for the 17 February exam will release soon. Last year, it was released four days after the conduction of exam. So, this year also it is expected the KMAT Kerala Result will publish within 4 days latest by February 21, 2019. The exact date for the announcement of the result is not available on the official website.
First, the university will publish the rank card containing the ranks of the candidates on the basis of raw score in the exam. It also consist of sectional and overall scores of all the students who have appeared for the exam. Secondly, within 1-2 days, the university releases the scorecard of each candidate individually. Test takers will able to download it using the login credentials at login window of KMAT Kerala 2019.
Candidates getting minimum of 108, 72, 54 for general, SEBC, SC/ST respectively are eligible for Admission to A.Y 2019-21.
On the basis of the rank in the exam, candidates will able to participate in the selection process of KMAT Kerala accepting institutes. Such institutes will release their closing rank and start the group discussion and personal interview round. Candidates can also take admission to management institutes of Kerala using CAT/ CMAT scores.
