Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, (Odisha) has announced the exam date of the KIITEE 2021 Phase 1 exam. The admission entrance test is scheduled to be held on May 25, 26 & 27, 2021 in the Online Remote Proctored mode. KIIT Deemed to be University conducts the KIIT Entrance Exam for admission to all programs in the University (except Medical and Dental courses). While online applications for KIITEE 2021 are currently ongoing, candidates must note that the last date to apply is May 20, 2021.
KIIT has resorted to the online proctored mode of conducting entrance exam amidst the pandemic in India. Candidates have to take the test from their homes on computers. The University has already laid down specifications for the devices. In addition, the complete schedule of events has been announced on the official website kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
Slot booking for KIITEE 2021 will start on May 17, 2021 and close on May 21, 2021 for the Phase 1 KIITEE 2021 exam. Those who are yet to submit their applications are advised to complete it soon and get ready for booking their exam slot. It may be noted that candidates who are appearing in the Phase 1 exams this time will not be allowed to appear in the Phase 2 exams.
The University will conduct a mock tests of the online remote proctored exam on May 23, 2021. Candidates are advised to take this test to get acquainted with the procedure of taking an online proctored exam. In order to take the online remote proctored test, candidates will need a computer connected to internet. At least a P-IV or Dual Core laptop/desktop is required with 1GB or higher RAM and 80GB or higher HDD. Microsoft Windows 7 is the supported OS for taking the test and the test is best taken through Google Chrome internet browser.
The computer must have a webcam and it must be connected to a stable internet connection. Minimum 1 MBPS of internet speed is required and candidates must have at least 2 GB data for live streaming. With the aforementioned IT infrastructure at home, candidates can take the KIITEE 2021 Online Remote Proctored Test. Candidates who have a 4G connectivity supported Android mobile phone can also take the test using their phone.
Candidates must note that in a remote proctored test, they are in a continuous video and audio monitored environment. Therefore, one must strictly adhere to the guidelines laid down by the KIIT deemed to be University. The exam must be taken from an isolated room without the presence of anyone else other than the candidate.
