Kerala SET 2022 admit card will be available from December 20, 2021, 5 pm onwards and the exam is scheduled to be held on January 09, 2022.

Kerala SET Application form 2022

LBS Center for Science and Technology is going to close the Kerala SET 2022 application form today. Those candidates who have not yet applied for the examination can do the same today till 5 pm on the official website, lbsedp.lbscentre.in.

As per the official notification, the Kerala SET 2022 examination is scheduled to be held on January 09, 2022. Also, the admit card for the exam shall be available from December 20, 2021, onwards.

Kerala SET 2022 is a Teacher Eligibility Test for candidates belonging to Kerala aspiring to get an appointment as a Higher Secondary school teacher. The candidates who successfully qualify for the Kerala SET 2022 exam are awarded a certificate after which they are able to apply for any teaching vacancy notified in the state.

As per the eligibility criteria, the authorities have not mentioned any particular age limit for candidates for the Kerala SET application form. However, the candidates aspiring for the exam must have a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with more than or equivalent to 50% marks. Additionally, they must also have pursued B.Ed from a recognized college/university.

Kerala SET 2022 exam is a teacher eligibility test and is always held for a total of 31 subjects. The examination has two papers, Paper 1 has 120 questions out of which 60 questions are asked from the General Knowledge section. Whereas, the remaining 60 questions are asked from Aptitude in Teaching. Paper 2 also has 120 questions however all of them are asked from the subject studied by the candidate in his Post Graduation.

However, for those candidates who opt for Mathematics or Statistics, the total number of questions is equal to 80 and each accounts for 1.5 marks. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete each paper.

As today is the last date to apply for Kerala SET 2022, hence the steps mentioned below will help in fastening the process for candidates:

Step 1: Visit the official website of LBS, Kerala, lbsedp.lbscentre.in

Step 2: Find and click on the Kerala SET application link and move forward

Step 3: Commence the registration process with an active mobile number. Then, fill the Kerala SET application form by entering the personal and academic details as asked

Step 4: Note the registration number generated post submission of the details and move to the upload section to submit a scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph

Step 5: Finally, pay the application fee admissible to the candidate’s category and hit the submit button to submit the application form of Kerala SET 2022.

The application fee for General/OBC category aspirants is INR 1000 and INR 500 for SC/ST and PWD categories.

Documents required to fill Kerala SET 2022 application form

Candidates spring to fill the application form of Kerala SET 2022 need to keep the following set of documents and details handy:

  • Candidate’s age proof
  • Valid ID proof for address detail
  • Valid mobile number
  • Valid Email ID
  • Scanned copy of the photograph with maximum size limit of 30 kb
  • Category certificate
  • Educational certificate like graduation degree, 10th and 12th mark sheet
