Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerela has released the KEAM 2019 Result on May 21, 2019, at cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates who have appeared for the engineering/pharmacy entrance exam can check their result using their KEAM 2019 application number and password.
Right now the KEAM 2019 result is out after this the candidates have to enter their class 12 marks as soon as the dates for the same is declared. Only the candidates who will qualify the KEAM 2019 exam as per their scores in the result will be able to enter their class 12 marks for the merit list preparation. CEE prepares the merit list by giving 50% weightage to both the class 12 marks and the KEAM 2019 marks.
The result is available under the candidate’s login, to access the same, the candidates have to enter their application number, password, and the access code as appears on the screen.
The qualifying marks of KEAM 2019 is minimum of 10 marks in paper 1 and paper 2 individually for the engineering courses. However, there are no such criteria for the SC/ST candidates. The candidates who qualify the KEAM exam by securing the minimum marks must upload their class 12 marks as per the schedule to be announced later on.
Only those candidates who will upload the class 12 marks will be given place in the merit list as per 50:50 weightage to the class 12 and KEAM 2019 scores.
After the merit list is out the candidates have to appear in the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for admission in various colleges. The counselling is an online process and the qualifying candidates in the merit list have to register for the same and participate in the various rounds of allotments in the online mode only.
About KEAM: KEAM is held for admission in various UG courses in the state of Kerela. It is a state level entrance examination and is held under the authority of CEE Kerela annually. The candidates have to appear for the exam in offline mode across various exam centers in the state of Kerela. There are 2 papers in the exam, Paper 1 is for Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 is for Mathematics. The KEAM admission merit list is prepared based on the KEAM scores and the class 12 marks of the candidates.
