The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has published the rank list for KEAM 2019. It has been published online at the candidate login on June 10, 2019, at 12:20 PM. The rank list has been published for admission to Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy Courses. The entrance exam for engineering courses was conducted on May 02, 2019 for Paper 1 – Physics & Chemistry, and on May 03, 2019 for Paper 2: Mathematics.
Candidates can check the rank for KEAM 2019 by visiting the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in. Next, the candidates have to log in by entering their application number and password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details and then in the next screen, candidates can check the KEAM 2019 rank list.
CEE Kerala published the scores obtained by the candidate on May 21, 2019, at the candidate login. Candidates who qualified the test were directed to submit the marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in the Second year of Plus Two or equivalent Qualifying Examination for the preparation of Engineering Rank list.
As per the official notice released for KEAM Rank List 2019, out of 51,665 candidates qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination 45,597 candidates submitted their marks in the second year of the Qualifying Examination to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
The rank list for Engineering has been prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper-II put together) and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology put together in the Second year of the Qualifying Examination (Plus Two or equivalent).
As per the notice, Some of the Boards/Authorities did not provide the statistical parameters/data essential for the process of standardization of marks. Hence, the marks of such candidates have been standardized based on the criteria decided upon by the Committee.
Marks obtained by the candidate in the KEAM 2019 (Paper I & Paper-II put together) is computed out of 300 and added to the total standardized marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Biotechnology/Biology as the case may be in the final year of the Qualifying Examination computed out of 300, both corrected to 4 places of decimals. The rank list for Engineering Courses has been prepared based on the total marks obtained out of 600.
The rank list for admission to Architecture (B.Arch) course has been prepared by giving equal weightage to the score obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture and to the marks/grades obtained in Qualifying Examination by the candidates. Whereas, for admission to Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course, the rank list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in Paper I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination.
