As per the notification received over the official website, sche.ap.gov.in, candidates will now be able to download their AP EAMCET 2019 Result “tentatively during 3rd week of May 2019”. Earlier, it was said that the result will be announced by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTUK) on May 01, 2019. But, the exact release date of AP EAMCET has not yet been declared.
Candidates who had appeared for this state level engineering, agriculture and medical common entrance test can visit the official website and look for the relevant AP EAMCET Result link. On clicking that link, a candidate needs to access the link by logging in with their registration number and hall ticket number. Check the result and save a copy of it for all the future reference.
AP EAMCET 2019 was held on April 20-23, 2019 for Engineering courses, April 23 & 24, 2019 for Agriculture courses and April 22 & 23, 2019 for both the courses. Further, the preliminary answer key was also released on April 24, 2019 and objections on it, were submitted till April 26, 2019. To qualify for AP EAMCET 2019, a candidate needs to secure the cut off marks as specified by the authorities.
There is no specified cut off marks for SC/ST candidates. But for General category candidates, 25% of marks needs to be secured i.e 40 marks out of a total of 160 marks. AP EAMCET 2019 Result has 2 components to it, namely score and rank. AP EAMCET 2019 Score is calculated by JNTUK by following the prescribed marking scheme, that is, +1 for every correct answer.
No negative marking scheme is applicable to AP EAMCET. After considering the AP EAMCET 2019 raw scores, the authorities release a normalised score to maintain fairness in the result declaration process. APSCHE allots a rank to every candidate on the basis of the merit scores, secured by each of them. The normalized score in class 10+2 and in EAMCET are considered to prepare the rank list. To be precise, 75% of weightage is given to AP EAMCET 2019 marks, whereas 25% weightage to 10+2 marks.
In case of two or more candidates securing the same rank, AP EAMCET authorities given preference to that candidate whose total marks are higher of AP EAMCET 2019. If the tie persists, candidate’s mathematics section marks are considered. Further, if the tie still remains unbroken, physics section marks are considered.
A candidate with more aggregate marks in the qualifying exam is then preferred. Finally, to break the tie situation, AP EAMCET authorities give preference to the older candidate. On the basis of the AP EAMCET 2019 Result, a candidate is further selected to appear for the counselling round. Counselling round is expected to be held by the 2nd week of June and candidates need to Rs.1200 (Rs.600 for SC/ST candidates) as counselling fee.
