Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has now released the admit card aka hall ticket for two exams – the MD/MS entrance exam, and the DM/MCh entrance exam. The hall ticket download facility is available for both at jipmer.edu.in, which is the official website of the institute.
The deadline to download the admit card for both exams is December 8, 2019. Whereas the MD/MS entrance exam will then be held on December 8, 2019, from 10 am to 1 pm. The DM/MCh entrance test shall be conducted on the same day from 10 am to 11.30 am. JIPMER will announce result cum merit list on the same website on or before December 18, 2019. Although dates upto result will be the same for both the programs, there will be different schedules for counselling.
On the day of exam, one has to bring the officially issued JIPMER hall ticket, and an ID proof. The hall tickets contain name and date of birth as typed by candidate in the application, photo and signature image same as uploaded by candidate during registration, and finally the examination city and roll number. Candidates must go for exam at that center only which has been assigned.
The valid ID proofs can be any one among aadhar card, e-aadhaar with validated digital signature, passport, bank passbook with photograph, voter ID, driving license, or any other valid government identity proof with photograph.
It is also required to have a photocopy of the id proof, which has to be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the hall. Moreover, candidates should get the signature and seal of the center representative or invigilator. At the time of certificate verification, one has to present the original hall ticket with seal marked by exam venue invigilator on the day of the exam.
JIPMER is conducting the entrance exams for postgraduate admissions 2020, for 62 seats of MD, 28 seats in MS, 25 seats of DM, and 16 seats of M.Ch.

How to download JIPMER admit card 2019 for MD/MS and DM/MCh entrance exam 2020?
The first thing to do is to go to jipmer.edu.in, and click the link “JIPMER MD/MS and DM/MCh Entrance Jan 2020 Session – Hall Ticket” which is visible under latest updates text and icon. This leads to a page with two separate links for courses wise hall tickets for the JIPMER PG entrance exam 2019 for admission in Jan 2020 session. There is also a link for mock test.
Then depending upon the exam applied for, either click the first text that says “Download Hall Ticket for JIPMER MD/MS Entrance – Jan 2020 Session – Click Here”, or the second one which says “Download Hall Ticket for JIPMER DM/MCh Entrance – Jan 2020 Session – Click Here”.
They further lead to a login form, where candidates will then have to enter their user ID, and password, and hit login to get to the dashboard. From there on, one can simply follow the instructions that appear on screen and download their exam admit card.
