West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has today, January 18, 2022, begun the registration process for JELET 2022 examination. Interested candidates can apply for the state-level entrance test on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. The deadline to submit the online form is January 31, 2022, up to 6:00 pm.
As of now, Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2022 examination is all set to be conducted on May 14, 2022. The exam will be held through the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode at selected centers across the state.
JELET 2022 Exam Schedule
As per the official JELET 2022 schedule uploaded by WBJEEB, the online application process shall take place from January 18 to 31, 2022, up to 6:00 pm. The application process will only take place through the online mode and not through offline or in-person format. Those who have successfully submitted the online form can make corrections in the same from February 02 to 03, 2022.
After the closing of the correction facility, successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards from May 10, 2022, from the official portal. The exam is scheduled to be held offline on May 14, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. So, all aspirants must download their admit cards before the exam date.

JELET 2022 Documents to Upload
While filling the JELET 2022 application form, candidates need to upload a few documents in the format and size recommended by the state examination board. These documents include a scanned copy of photograph and signature.
Candidates with incorrect, illegible, or unclear images will be intimated via SMS or email on their registered mobile number or email address. On receiving such an intimation, candidates must correct these discrepancies within a day’s time. If the images still remain unclear, such candidates will not be issued JELET 2022 admit cards.
JELET 2022 Application Fee
According to the JELET 2022 information brochure, general category candidates need to pay Rs.500 as an application fee. Whereas, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories need to pay Rs.400. Candidates must also bear the additional bank charges which are not included in this amount. This fee can be paid using net banking, debit card, or credit card. These are the only permissible gateways and WBJEEB will not be accepting any other payment mode.
All candidates are instructed to fill and submit only ONE application form. In case of any discrepancies, they can rectify the same using the correction facility. WBJEEB may disqualify candidates submitting duplicate application forms. Hence, it is much better to stick to one application form.
