Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh, will release UP JEECUP Admit Card 2019 on May 18, 2019. The admit card will be released online, on the jeecup.nic.in. Only the registered candidates can download the admit card of JEECUP 2019 and no copy of it will be provided through the post or e-mail. The UPJEE (Polytechnic)-2019 is scheduled to be held on May 26, 2019.
It is mandatory to carry JEECUP admit card on the exam day. To download it, the candidates need to visit the official website and click on the orange tab for admit card of UPJEE 2019. Next, the candidates will be directed to a new portal and to access it, application number and password is needed. After login, the candidates can download the admit card from the dashboard.
The admit card contains the name, roll number, application number, exam date, time, center address, and more details. Candidates have to carry a print out of it on the exam day. The e-call letter is not accepted on the exam day.
Along with the JEECUP admit card, the candidates should also carry on cardboard and black / blue ball point pen so that they can mark answers easily. Other than this, no other item is allowed in the exam hall.
JEECUP 2019 will begin from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for Group A and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for Group B, C, D, E, F G, H, I and K1 to 8. The candidates have to reach the exam hall as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. The entry in the exam hall is upto 30 minutes from the commencement of the exam. After that, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
10 minutes before the exam, the candidates will be allowed to break the seal of question booklet and read instructions. The answers are to be marked in an OMR sheet, which will be provided with a carbon copy. The candidates have to return the OMR sheet. However, they may take question booklet and the carbon copy of answer sheet with them.
UP JEECUP 2019 is a state level examination for admission of candidates in Polytechnic courses. The exam is only conducted in pen and paper mode. The question paper is provided in Hindi and English language. In total, there are 100 multiple choice questions in the exam and these are of asked from the respective course for each group. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks and for choosing an incorrect answer, negative marking of 1 mark is done.
