JEE Main 2019 Answer Key Expected to Release Tomorrow

National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the JEE Main 2019 April exam successfully. The entrance exam for Paper 1 was on April 08, 09. 10, 12, 2019 and on April 07, 2019 for Paper 2. As per some newspaper reports, NTA shall release the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key tomorrow at jeemain.nic.in. The conducting body has not yet confirmed the release date for JEE Main Answer Key.

For the January Attempt, the answer key for JEE Main 2019 was released on January 15, 2019. It was released two (02) days after the exam was over. Hence, it was expected that the JEE Main April 2019 Answer Key shall be released on April 15, 2019. Furthermore, if the newspaper reports are true, then NTA shall release the JEE Main 2019 Question Paper and Response Sheet today. This is so, NTA publishes the Question paper and response sheet before the JEE Main Answer Key.

The candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key online by visiting the official website. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the “Challange JEE Main Answer Key 2019”. In the next screen, the candidates will get two options for downloading the JEE Main Answer Key. The first option is to log in by entering Application Number and Password, whereas, the second option is to log in by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. Once the candidate submits the login details, the candidate dashboard will appear on the screen. Click on the relevant link for the JEE Main Answer Key and then start cross-checking the answers.

The candidates need to add 04 marks for a correct answer and deduct 01 marks for an incorrect answer. To calculate the marks obtained by the candidate, multiply 4 by the number of correct answers – 1 multiplied by the number of wrong answers. The total marks obtained by the candidate by cross-checking the answers is the total probable score.

Now that the JEE Main April 2019 exam is over, various coaching centers have released the JEE Main memory-based questions and answers. Furthermore, as per the analysis done by the Coaching Institutes the expected cut off for JEE Main exam shall be 85-90 for General category, 45-70 for OBC category and 40-70 for SC, ST, PwD category candidates.

JEE Main 2019 result is going to be announced on April 30, 2019 for Paper 1, and on May 15, 2019 for Paper 2. The scorecard for JEE Main 2019 will consist of the Percentile which is prepared on the basis of the normalization process.

JEE Main score is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards.
