The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 is all set to begin on June 20, 2022, with session 1 scheduled on June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2022. Admit cards for session 1 are likely to be issued soon, on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, prior to admit card release, NTA will be releasing the exam city intimation for all candidates. This intimation will inform each candidate about his/her allotted exam city, venue name and address. It is important for students to not mistaken the intimation document with the JEE Main 2022 admit card.
The JEE Main 2022 session 2 shall be organised on July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2022. A separate admit card and exam city intimation will be provided prior to session 2 exam.
JEE Main 2022 Exam City Intimation
During the JEE Main 2022 application process, candidates had to opt for their preferred cities to write the exam. From these preferred cities, NTA will be allotting a city and venue to each candidate, based on the availability of seats and number of candidates opting for same city.
Details regarding exam centre and city will be mentioned in the JEE Main 2022 exam city intimation. Based on the initial schedule mentioned in the information brochure, this intimation document is likely to come out by June 07, 2022.
To download the JEE Main 2022 exam city intimation, a candidate must visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the download link available on homepage. A login window will open in which candidates need to enter application number, date of birth, etc. On submitting the credentials, intimation document will appear on screen. For future reference, candidates are advised to take a printout of the document.
JEE Main 2022 Admit Card Release Date
Although an official date has not been specified, candidates can expect the JEE Main 2022 admit card to release a week after exam city intimation i.e., between June 08 to 14, 2022. Admit cards will be issued through the online mode, on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
All aspirants are advised to register two things in mind – 1. Admit cards will be issued ONLY through the online mode. NTA will not be issuing any hall ticket through offline or in-person format. 2. It is mandatory to carry a hardcopy of the admit card to the exam centre. An e-copy will not be permitted at the entry gate.
JEE Main 2022 session 1 shall be held across the country through the computer-based format. The exam date and slot timing will be intimated to each candidate through the admit card.
