Originally supposed to be conducted in May, the fourth and the last session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 is going to be conducted on August 26, 27, 31, 2021 and September 01 and 02, 2021. However, with the imminent examination, candidates are now awaiting their admit cards for the JEE Main 2021 Session 4. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released any notice regarding the release of admit cards, it is expected that the same will be available to download, soon, most probably by this week.

For 2021, JEE Main was set to be conducted over four sessions. Admit cards for the first or February session were released on February 11, 2021. The examination for this session was conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021. Hence, the admit cards were released 12 days prior to the commencement of the exam. Likewise, the admit cards for the second or March session were released on March 11, 2021, while the examination was held from March 16 to 18, 2021. Therefore, the difference between the admit card release date and the first examination date was 05 days.

The third or the JEE Main 2021 July session was held from July 20 to 27, 2021. Admit cards for this session were released on July 13, 2021. Thus, it can be seen that the admit cards were released 07 days prior to the first examination date. Taking cues from the admit card release trends of the previous JEE Main 2021 sessions, it can be said that for the upcoming August session, NTA is likely to release the admit cards at least 05 to 10 days prior to the first examination date.

Hence, candidates can expect the admit cards by August 21, 2021. Once the admit cards are officially released, candidates can download the same from the official NTA website jeemain.nta.nic.in. For some reference, they can take a look at the steps given below:

Step 1- Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the link for downloading the JEE Main 2021 Session 4 admit card

Step 2- The login window will open where the candidates have to enter the application number, date of birth and security code

Step 3- Click on the login button to view and download the admit cards.

Please note that the link for downloading the admit cards will be activated only on the official release date. Before downloading the admit cards, candidates are advised to crosscheck the details. They can also take a printout of the same for future reference.
