NTA CUCET 2021: Final List of Universities, Courses for which Central Universities Common Entrance Test is being held

Interested candidates can submit their application form latest by September 01, 2021, up to 11:50 pm on cucet.ntanic.in.

NTA CUCET 2021

National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registration process for the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2021 on cucet.ntanic.in. Interested candidates can submit their application form latest by September 01, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. The last date to pay the examination fee is September 02, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. The CUCET 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 15, 16, 23 and 24, 2021. While authorities have released the information brochure for the entrance exam, there is still some confusion looming around.

Here is a list of participating central universities and the courses that they offer under CUCET 2021 –

NTA has also specified the eligibility criteria for various courses in the information brochure. For example, candidates applying for the B.Voc. (Biomedical Sciences) course must have scored at least 50% marks in Class 12 (with Biology) or equivalent aggregate gate. 5% relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories like SC, ST, PwD and OBC.

The entrance exam will be conducted through the computer-based mode and comprise of two papers. The first paper will contain two parts – Part A and Part B. Part A shall cover subjects like English, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability. Part B will cover subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The second paper shall comprise of 100 questions, testing the aptitude of candidates in subjects like English, Analytical Skills, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, General Aptitude & General Knowledge and Reasoning.

CUCET 2021 examination will be conducted across the country for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Previously, there was a lot of confusion about the participating universities. There were rumours about JNU and DU also being a part of the central university entrance exam. However, this confusion has significantly come to an end after authorities released the information brochure and application form on cucet.nta.nic.in.
