National Testing Agency is going to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2021 exam from February 23, 2021. Registrations for the same are scheduled to end in seven days i.e., on January 16, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to register for the national-level entrance exam on or before the prescribed date on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. By qualifying this exam, candidates can get admission into prestigious engineering institutions across the country depending on their score and rank. By scoring the prescribed cut-off marks, candidates shall also be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021.
JEE Main 2021 online application process began on December 16, 2020. NTA has provided a month’s time to students to fill and submit the application form on or before January 16, 2021. However, the last date to submit the application fee is January 17, 2021. Subsequently, candidates can avail the correction facility from January 19 to 21, 2021 to correct their particulars. However, this correction facility shall only be available for students who have applied for the JEE Main 2021 February session.
NTA shall release the examination admit card tentatively in the second week of February 2021. The JEE Main 2021 February session is scheduled on February 23, 24, 25 and 26, 2021. The examination shall be organised in two shifts on each day – the first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Authorities are yet to announce the official dates for releasing the answer keys and declaring the result.
Eligible candidates can apply for JEE Main 2021 examination on the official website of the conducting body i.e., jeemain.nta.in. They must first register on the website using their personal mobile no. and email ID. After this, they have to fill the application form with the required details and make a note of the system-generated application number.
Candidates are required to upload certain important documents after filling the application form. These documents include a recent photograph, candidate signature, category certificate, PwD certificate, etc. All these must be uploaded according to the format and file size prescribed by the NTA.
The last step includes paying the application fee using the SBI, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI bank, PayTm gateway via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Baking or UPI. Students must also keep proof of the fee paid. After submitting the application form, candidates must either download or print a copy of the fee paid for future reference. JEE Main 2021 February session is scheduled to begin from February 23, 2021, and the last date to register for the exam is January 16, 2021.
