The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the answer key for the JEE Main 2021 fourth attempt on 06 September, 2021. Right after the declaration of the provisional answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in, the NTA opened the portal for submitting challenges. However, tomorrow, i.e. 08 September, 2021, is the last day for doing the same. In case any candidate wishes to submit a challenge, then he/she must do so by 10 AM tomorrow.
For those who are not acquainted with the process of submitting challenges, here are the steps that can be followed.
Step 1 – Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and scroll down the page to find the link for displaying the question paper and answer key challenge for the fourth session of JEE Main 2021
Step 2 – In the login window, enter the application number, password or date of birth, along with the security PIN
Step 3 – Scroll down again and find the ‘view question paper’ option
Step 4 – After clicking on that link, the question paper will be displayed along with the answers that the student has marked
Step 5 – Now, go back one page and select the ‘click to view/challenge answer key’. The answer key, along with the subject, question type, question ID, correct answer/answer option and the option IDs for the answers will be displayed
Step 6 – Crosscheck the answer marked by the candidate in the question paper with that displayed in the answer key
Step 7 – Click on the answer option ID that the student deems correct against a particular question and submit the claim(s) by uploading the supporting documents
To successfully submit the challenges, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 200 per question challenged. As a result, depending on the number of challenges that the candidate submits, the total fee will be generated accordingly. The NTA has stated that no challenge after 10 AM on 08 September, 2021, will be accepted. If someone wants to submit one, then they must do so before 10 AM tomorrow without fail. These challenges will first be verified by experts. In case they are found correct, then the final answer key will be revised and published accordingly.
The JEE Main fourth session 2021 concluded on 02 September, 2021. Although the JEE Main official website has not published any notice regarding the publication of results, it is expected that the same will be announced after the final answer key is released. This session was the final session of JEE Main 2021. No more sessions will be conducted by the NTA this year. Students who could not appear in any of the sessions in 2021 due to any reason whatsoever will now have to wait till 2022.
