National Testing Agency (NTA) is releasing the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card for the April attempt on March 20, 2019. The candidates can download the admit card until the day of the exam under their login at jeemain.nic.in. The admit card is being released in the online mode only and no admit card will be sent via post.

To download the admit card the candidates have to log in using their application number and password. The admit card download link appears on the dashboard of the candidates thereafter. On clicking the link the admit card is available for view and download.

The admit card will have the allotted exam day, time and centre to appear in the exam. The candidates have to reach the exam centre as per the allotted date and time. JEE Main 2019 April exam is being held on April 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12, 2019 and in 2 shifts each day. The first shift from 9:30 PM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The paper 2 exam, that is for B.Arch/B.Plan is going to be held on April 07, 2019 only, in 2 shifts. However the Paper 1 exam will be held on April 08, 09, 10 and 12, 2019 in 2 shifts each day.

In the admit card, candidates will have one exam day allotted out of the 5 days and 1 shift allotted out of the 2 available shifts to appear in the exam. The candidates cannot request for a change in the exam centre, date and time after they have been allotted via the admit card.

5 Things To Note

#1 Check the allotted exam centre, date and time in the admit card.

#2 In the print of the admit card, make sure that your signature and photo is clear and recognisable.

#3 Obey the exam centre instructions mentioned in the admit card. Read them after printing the admit card and follow the same.

#4 The admit card must be downloaded 2-3 days prior to the exam day. The last minute wait might be too risky, and if the admit card is not carried at the exam centre the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

#5 The admit card is to be carried with a valid id proof. This will include PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.

The admit card is to be carried at the exam centre in a printed format. The candidates also have to carry an original photo ID proof and a passport sized coloured photo, preferably the same as the one uploaded in the application form. There is no hard and fast rule that the print of the admit card has to be coloured, but a coloured print is clear and helps in the identification process.

JEE Main 2019 April Exam will be held across 264 cities in India and in 9 location abroad. The exam is of 3 hours duration, will have MCQ based questions and will be a Computer-based test only. Only the part 3 of the Paper 2 exam will be in offline mode as it is the drawing section.

As per the reports for the April exam, 70% of the candidates are those who have also registered for the January examination. There are a total of 9.54 lakh registrations have been received for this session.

After the April exam is over, the result of the same will be uploaded over the official website by April 30, 2019. The final AIR will be also released based on the best of both the scores of the candidates in the 2 attempts. The scores declared are normalised and is known as NTA score.
