Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee will declare the JEE Advanced 2019 result at 10 AM on June 14, 2019. The timing of the result declaration has been reported by various news reports online. The candidates can check their result in the form of a scorecard at jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2019 exam was held in the online mode on May 27, 2019.
To check the JEE Advanced 2019 Result the candidates have to log in using their registration number, DOB, mobile number, email address. In doing so the candidates can check the scorecard of the exam. The candidates must download their scorecard as it is needed at the time of counselling.
The scorecard of the exam has the candidate’s marks in Paper 1 & 2, the total positive marks in the exam and the qualification status of the candidates. It also has the All India Rank of the candidates in the exam. The candidates will be also sent an SMS in their registered mobile number about the declaration of the result. However, no candidates will get individual rank cards.
There are minimum marks per subject and minimum marks in aggregate for qualifying JEE Advanced 2019. The minimum percentage of marks in each subject for Common rank list (CRL) is 10.0 and the minimum percentage of aggregate marks needed is 35.0. These minimum marks vary category wise. However, note that the JEE Advanced 2019 cutoff marks are subjected to change after the result.
The candidates who will qualify the exam will be offered admission across 23 IITs in India with approximately 11279 seats.
After the result declaration, the qualified candidates have to appear for the online counselling process – Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The counselling process has the steps like registering for the counselling, filling the choices and locking them, checking the seat allocation result and appearing for the document verification rounds at the allotted IIT for admission. the admission of the candidates will be depending on the availability of seats during various rounds of seat allocation.
This year, in total 1.73 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2019. JEE Advanced is for admission into the engineering programs of the prestigious IITs of the nation. The courses offered at the IITs via JEE Advanced are Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree courses in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture.
