Planning To Appear In JEE 2019? Keep Aadhaar Card Ready

There are more than 1.2 billion Aadhaar holders in the country. Are you one of them? If not make sure you join the lot. Candidates aspiring to appear in Joint Entrance Examination 2019 (JEE 2019) must have Aadhaar Card with them. The unique identification number in the Aadhaar Card will be mandatory while applying for JEE. Thus, if you already have it make sure it is well updated. If you don’t have your Aadhaar card, enrol for it now, so as to have it well before time.

JEE Main Application process starts around the first week of December. Thus tentatively, the JEE Main 2019 application process will start by December 2019. Candidates who are preparing for the examination must also prepare to get their Aadhar Card made before the JEE 2019 events start. While filling the online application form for the examination, candidates will need to enter their 12-digit unique identification number. If this is not available, the application process will not complete.

Aadhaar Number has been made compulsory since 2017 in JEE

As per the officials, Aadhaar card will have a track of the genuine students appearing in the exam which will make the whole procedure (form exam to admission) authentic and easier for the institutions. According to the official notification issued on November 10, 2016, all candidates who are Indian citizens should possess an Aadhaar card issued by UIDAI with their correct details to apply for JEE.

Aadhaar Card for JEE 2019The Aadhar Enrollment process includes visiting Enrolment Centre, filling the enrolment form, getting demographic and biometric data captured, submitting proof of Identity and address documents, before collecting acknowledgement slip containing Enrolment ID.

Candidates can also get the Aadhar card Enrolment form on the official website of UIDAI, www.uidai.gov.in. But visiting the centre is mandatory to capture the biometric data and other important formalities.

Candidate must visit their nearby enrollment centre as soon as possible to get the formalities done. You can check your nearby Aadhar Enrollment Centre online.

JEE 2019 Aadhar Card

The waiting time for Aadhaar may vary from 60-90 days after receipt of individual’s data. Thus enrol with time in hand.

Also, candidates who have their Aadhar card should ensure that the details are up to date and correct. For this purpose also, candidates must visit the official website and request their updates (if any) online.

Although the conducting body may change in 2019 for JEE Main. The cabinet has approved the formation of National Testing Agency (NTA). This body is supposed to conduct all the entrance examinations for higher educational institutions which were earlier conducted by CBSE. But it has yet not been confirmed that whether or not it will conduct examination from  2019. Thus, aspirants of most competitive engineering entrance exam must take no chances and stay prepared with all their documents well before time.
