About Mathematical Statistics
MS or Mathematical Statistics is a very reputed branch of study that deals with application of probability theory to statistics. The former is a branch of mathematics. MS does not focus on statistical data collection.
In essence, it looks into how probability theory generalizes statistical data.
After an M.Sc in Mathematical Statistics, one can go for a career in research, pursue Ph.D, or even appear in NET. Besides, one can go for government organizations that have projects involving MS. Or become an Assistant Professor.
