The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has opened the correction window for the Joint Admission test for Masters or JAM 2022. The online registration process for the test ended on October 14, 2021. However, the last date to pay the registration fee extends to October 17, 2021. The entrance test to admit students to the various postgraduate courses in the IITs will take place on February 13, 2022. The online correction window can be accessed from the official website – jam.iitr.ac.in.
Online correction window to rectify details will remain open till October 25, 2021. To know how to make these changes, take a look at the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official JAM 2022 website – jam.iitr.ac.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘JAM 2022: Corrections/Rectification’ on the right-hand side of the screen
Step 3- Enter login credentials like enrolment ID or email ID along with the password
Step 4- Provide the arithmetic expression and press the ‘Submit’ button
Step 5- Follow the next few steps and make the required changes in the JAM 2022 application form
The JAM 2022 correction portal will allow candidates to add or change test papers, edit data related to exam city, gender, category, PwD/Dyslexic status, candidate’s name, date of birth, parent’s or guardian’s name, university or college name, graduation year and marks or CGPA. It must be noted that for making changes in the candidate’s name, date of birth, parent’s or guardian’s name, university or college name, graduation year and marks or CGPA, one does not need to pay any additional fee.
However, if a candidate wishes to add or change the number of test papers, then they have to deposit an additional fee. This fee varies depending on the group or category of the candidates and the number of test papers they wish to add or change.

Those candidates who wish to change the choice of examination cities can do so by paying an additional fee of Rs 300. This fee is the same for all the categories. Similarly, candidates who have entered an incorrect category or gender and wishes to change the same can do so by paying an additional fee.

The applications will be scrutinized to verify the data entered by the candidate against the supporting documents and clarity of the photograph, signature etc. Defects in the application will be marked and notified to the candidate for rectification within a stipulated time. The status of the application and defects marked in the application will be intimated to the candidates through E-mail and/or SMS. Candidates should rectify the marked defects in the application before the stipulated deadline. Failure in doing so will lead to the application being rejected.
