As per the media reports, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will release Class 10th result today. It will be announced on June 12, 2018, between 4 PM to 4:30 PM. Students can check their results on the official website i.e. jac.nic.in. Further, they have to click on the link which displays the result. After that, they need to fill in the details required and submit them. The result will be displayed on the screen. It is important to take out the printout of the result for further use.
Apart from official website students can check their result on third party websites. These websites are indiaresults.com and examresults.net.
Earlier results were expected to declare on either June 9 or June 10, 2018. But the result declaration delayed as the evaluation process took some time.
Almost 4,31,734 students wrote the Class 10th examination held in 954 centers across the state. Council conducted examination from March 8 to March 21, 2018. This year to ensure transparency in the examinations, council installed CCTV cameras. Issuance of admit card was also done in online mode.
Last year i.e in 2017, around 4.6 lakh students appeared for the examination. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 57.91% which was lower than in 2016. This year the overall pass percentage is expected to increase.
The council has already released the Intermediate Science and Commerce results 2018 earlier this month. The results were declared on June 7, 2018. Approximately 3.16 lakh students appeared for the intermediate exams. Out of which 92,073 of Science, 40,173 from Commerce and 1,84,123 in Arts students appeared respectively. The examination was held at 436 centers.
The overall pass percentage recorded for Science stream was 48.34%. While Commerce secured 67.49 pass percentage. Arts result has not been announced until now due to delay in the evaluation process. The result dates have not been announced for the same.
Jharkhand Academic Council came into existence on November 15, 2000. It conducts examination for Matric and Intermediate level. It imparts school education to the students. Apart from Secondary and Senior secondary examination it also conducts various entrance examinations. Its aim is to provide quality education to all.
